Principle Duties:
Staff support Crisis management Attendance to all team and/or participant-specific meetings pertaining to participants, programming, licensing, etc.
, upon request Assist in development, training, and facilitation of participants' goals in all functional areas A collaborative effort to develop, facilitate, and train staff in all areas of daily programming, licensing, etc.
, upon request Maintain open communication with primary caregivers and working team of professionals Initiate creative and appropriate ways to implement participant's goals/objectives while communicating with the supervisor Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all areas representative of Person First Supportive Services and Homes Ability to follow all confidentiality requirements pertaining to participants Assist in staff training and training documentation to meet agency and licensing requirements Maintain and assist in all policies and protocols pertaining to medication management Providing hands-on support to participants as a direct support staff Collaboration as a member of the crisis response team Assist Homes Manager with event reports, SIRs, and documentation Other duties as assigned based upon needs of the program Preparing meals according to dietary guidelines Performing direct care services such as, but not limited to, bathing, showering, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene Supervising and participating in activities with participants Observing, reporting, and documenting behavior of residents The Agency:

Minimum
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of child and adolescent development Strong communication skills, both oral and written Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers Ability to work independently General experience with special needs youth or adults Ability to drive, with proof of insurance and a valid driver's license Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift objects at least 40 pounds, ability to climb stairs, ability to operate a computer for 2-3 hours, and ability to sit for 6-8 hours Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, internet, and email Flexibility with schedule as needed to complete any duties assigned related to your role and responsibility Highs School diploma or equivalent The Ideal Candidate:
Follows prescribed schedules and treatment plans Has the ability to show compassion, patience, and reliability Can properly manage non-compliant individuals threatening self-harming or aggressive behavior Possesses a willingness to learn Interview Questions:
